Robin Klemens

Robin uses his blockchain engineering skills to contribute to stopping climate change. He is co-chair of the Hyperledger Climate Action and Accounting SIG, which supports the development of an open global climate accounting system. The overarching goal is to manage the worlds' single planetary carbon budget and realize the Paris Agreement. Currently, he is earning his Ph.D. at the Institute for Internet Security of the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, researching opportunities to address climate change with distributed ledger technologies. He is actively contributing to various open-source projects such as Hyperledger Indy and the Hperledger lab Blockchain Carbon Accounting.
